Good guacamole is a family favorite, but we’ve found that too many recipes leave us with a less-flavorful guac than we would like. This recipe get’s you a healthy, delicious guacamole that will have you coming back for more.

Guacamole Ingredients

Cilantro is optional in this recipe, so you can skip it if you prefer.

We highly suggest using the full amount of jalapeño, even if you don’t like spicy food. The acidity from the lime juice and the tomato, paired with creamy fat content of the avocado will keep this guac recipe from taking on a spicy flavor. If you’re still concerned about it, make sure to remove all the seeds and ribs (white part inside the pepper). This is where peppers have the most capsaicin, the molecule that makes them spicy.

If you only have 1 avocado, this is an easy recipe to make a half batch of.
