Thanksgiving Brussels Sprout Crostini
These brussels sprout crostinis with honey-balsamic and goat cheese are the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer.

- 1 lb brussels sprouts Small to medium sized
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 1 baguette
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Prehead over to 425F
Slice brussels sprouts in half, remove stem and outer leaves, wash thoroughly
Toss sprout halves in 2 tbsp of olive oil
Place cut side up on baking sheet
Generously season with salt and pepper
Bake 15-20 minutes or until extra crispy
Honey Balsamic Reduction
In a small saucepan bring balsamic vinegar and honey to a low simmer
Stir continuously for 5-8 minutes to keep sugars from burning (keep on heat longer for thicker drizzle)
Remove from head and allow to cool before serving
Crostini
Thinly slice baguette on a bias
Lightly brush both sides with remaining olive oil
Broil until lightly crispy, 2-4 minutes (don’t over cook or you’ll have croutons)
Assembly
Smear a dollop of goat cheese on each crostini
With tongs or kitchen tweezers place 2-3 brussels sprouts on each crostini
Finish with a healthy drizzle of honey balsamic reduction and flakey salt (optional)
Serve immediately
