The Cocktail

Gin and Tonics are the perfect refreshing drink for summer, and this recipe adds an extra seasonal twist. Nothing says summer like the sweet and tart combination of strawberry and rhubarb! This recipe uses our strawberry-rhubarb simple syrup to create the perfect bright cocktail for barbecues, the Fourth of July, or any other summer occasion!

While you can use just about any kind of gin for this recipe, we recommend using a good quality bottle that has more aromatics than just juniper (the stuff that makes it taste like pine needles). Our personal favorite bottles that are commonly available would be Bombay Sapphire and Hendricks.

We made this recipe with warm summer nights in mind, but we’re excited to share recipes for other occasions as well. Did we get it right? If you like this recipe as much as we do, let us know in the comments below!
